I cant add group and del

This application is generally very good, particularly in expanding the search function to include other fields within the contact. However, I was not able to change any of my contacts from uncategorized to one of the categories that I had added. If this was fixed, it would be an excellent application.

One of the better options, but still too many actions needed for basic group management. Maybe a simple checklist would be better—one screen, all groups, check and uncheck as needed. This is the ABContacts approach, but in that app, it takes several more actions just to get to that point... -------------------- Just noticed a new version for this app which I deleted weeks ago... Thought Id have another look... The user interface has been redesigned and is much improved over the previous version; I think Ill actually keep this one. This app loads quite fast for me, with no issues to speak of (so far). Also, in-app support email is a very nice touch and customer support has been responsive. Finally, just discovered that map location, email, and sending of contact info are all integrated into the app (app does not close and then open Maps or Mail). This is a very nice touch that ABContacts or the native Contacts app do not have currently. However, a button on the map screen to open in Google Maps would be a nice addition, such as for routing. But all in all, it still comes down to effeciency; it still takes far too many actions just to add a contact to a group or move from one to another.

Ive purchased 5 other apps before this to try to create and manage groups in my contacts. So far this is the best. No major bugs noted and does what it is supposed to do. For the inexpensive price I especially recommend it. Basic, no frills, but seems functionally reliable.

Please help. Just purchased and all it will do is open, shows title screen for a few seconds and closes. Have deleted and re-installed. Have rebooted iPhone 3gs running 3.1.3 os and still same issue. Would like to use app from what the reviews say that it would do the things I want for a contact app. Have sent in a problem report but got no response. Any help appreciated

Ive got the same problem, program starts for a few seconds then closes. Iphone G2 running 3.1.3. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Apparently Related Names field will return in v 4.2 - Something about a bug in ios4. In general have to say Im impressed the app developer returns emails within a day and seems intent on maintaining a 5 star Ap. Each successive update has resolved bugs and added functionality.

All I wanted to do was create groups to send emails without selecting each person one by one. Everything else works good also. No crashes.

please add "facetime call".

I bought this app because of two important features that the built-in Contacts app forgot to include: 1) full text search; and 2) group management. I use the built-in app most of the time because it starts up faster. But when I need the extra features, it is good to know that Contacts Tap is ready and able to meet that need. Because the two apps work together, I can have the best of both.

This is my second review of this app. Contacts Tap is a great contact manager that offers excellent searching functions. The app designer is very responsive to questions and issues. In addition the app designer is very interested in hearing and implementing suggestions. The app is like adding a "splash" of CRM to your contacts. Great job!

Needed search of all fields of contacts & Sync to Address Book on Mac. This works.

Pressed the trash icon and selected all my duplicates that Outlook created in synch. They appear to have disappeared but when I reload Contacts, they all reappear. I have had to use Outlooks delete one at a time. I even reloaded the latest ContactTap version and it also fails. Please fix. Otherwise cant use it.

I use a lot of the fields in Addressbook, and was annoyed that they didnt show up in my iPhone. With this app they are all there with the ability to add them and modify them on my phone! I also use groups and this brings them to my phone too! The developer is GREAT about answering questions ASAP, so buy with confidence. V. 5.7 works like a charm, so I would disregard bad reviews from earlier versions.

Unacceptable when dealing with peoples critical information

You have to disable iMessage to send group texts. Thats absurd. And potentially costly. The design of the app is also far less intuitive as most of Apples authentic features.

Navigation a bit difficult to follow..confusing.

App starts, says it is loading contacts then closes, I shouldnt have updated this app, it worked fine before now!
